About Us

We have lived in Carrick for eleven years but been visiting since 2000.

Having fallen in love with the area & the breath taking scenery we decided to make it home.

The hamlet of Carrick is quiet, secure and serene with friendly locals.

There are so many walks easily reachable from the chalets, whether you want to walk on the level or climb a hill there is something for everyone.

The stunning scenery changes daily depending on the weather. Even when it's dreich and raining there's something alluring about the area with visitors returning annually.

My husband built two houses in Carrick around twenty five years ago. Our oldest son assisted whilst serving his apprenticeship. We lived in one of the houses 'Springwell' for a while before moving round the corner. We bought Carrick House in 2015 and began clearing the ground in preparation for the chalets in 2020, this time my husband was assisted by our youngest son. The build has been a labour of love with attention to detail ensuring a comfortable stay in luxurious accommodation.
